Arrival / Check-in
Guests are requested to check-in after 3 pm and register on
arrival by signing the visitors book in the Inner Hall.
Departure / Check-out
Guests are requested to check out of their rooms by 10.30 am
prompt.
N.B. Arrival/departure times outside of these hours can be arranged by prior
agreement.
Parking
Car-parking facilities are available in the courtyard by the main
entrance. Access is via the 5-barred wooden gate by the barn. In the interests
of security and fact we have 2 active dogs could you please ensure that the gate
is kept closed at all times outside of entering or leaving.
Vehicles and effects are left at the owners own risk.
N.B. Please take care when driving off as visibility from the exit is
restricted.
Keys
Guests will be given a set of keys for both the main entrance and
an individual room key.
please ensure all keys are returned when checking-out.
Payment
Your final account will presented at breakfast. Payments are
acceptable by cash or cheque. Cheques to be made payable to "Knotts
Cottage".
Smoking
Please note that Knotts Cottage operates a strictly non-smoking
policy throughout.
Room Facilities
All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities,
radio alarm and a hair drier.
A bath robe and towels are provided and fresh towels are available on request.
House Alarm
The house alarm will be set once all guests are in for the night
but you will be able to move around the guest-designated area.
Animals/Pets
Due to our large dogs unfortunately we are unable to accept any
guests with pets.
Children
We are delighted to welcome children of 14 years and over, but
would request that they are supervised when using the games facilities.
Early Morning Calls
These can be provided if required. Please inform us before
retiring for the night.
Telephone
Our private house telephone is available for emergency calls
only, but we will be glad to make reservations for evening meals in the locality
on your behalf if required.
